- Construction
- Completion of construction and payment of the remaining fee.
Q 2. Can you include my art object into the design?
A: It depends. We value your requests, but it may be difficult to harmonise your object with the aesthetics of a Japanese garden.
Q 3. I have some ideas about my ideal Japanese garden. Can you actualise that?
A: We will try but it depends. Please talk to us about this at the design stage, before we start construction. At Tsubo, we are committed to creating gardens that are based on authentic Japanese design principles. It may be that you are looking to include a Japanese influence in your own design rather than a real Japanese garden designed for you by us. In that case we will recommend that you look for another designer to help you realise your garden ideas. Once you sign our agreement, we will be making the garden following the design we created in consultation with you.
Q4: Can you assist with designing our garden if we already have a team for construction?
A: Yes, we can definitely help with designing your garden. The cost for a sight inspection (within Melbourne) and concept drawing, based on the garden's size, starts from $600.
Before proceeding, please consider the following:
1. Have you explored designing your garden independently using online resources or books?
2. Please refrain from mentioning that the garden was designed by Shoso Shimbo unless the final product is approved by Shoso himself.
